Today I’ll be discussing What I Eat in a Day in a Calorie Deficit. I’m currently cutting and eating 1,900 calories a day.
Crazy right? That’s seriously so much food still! It’s crazy to think I would eat sometimes 1,200 calories in a cut and be starving still. Yet, somehow convincing myself I was full. If you didn’t know, I wrote a blog post opening up about my struggles and growing up in diet culture. That’s the exact reason why I became a Macro Coach.
I like to fill up on veggies, protein and carbs throughout the day to keep me satisfied and full. Growing up in diet culture, I was convinced I had to eat boring chicken and veggies but came to the realization that it’s not true. I am a big sauce person, GHughes being my favorite, and they have zero sugar and little to no calories.
I do enjoy repeating meals because I get obsessed with it because they’re so good! Then, I’ll switch it up and do something different. But I usually like to rotate the same 5-10 meals. I of course love other meals but these are just my favorites. I understand that most people aren’t like me so there are easy ways to have the same proteins and switch up the actual meals.
What I Eat in a Day in a Calorie Deficit
As you can see below, I’m eating my typical breakfast and the same meal for lunch and dinner. You can easily make one of the ground turkey meals a taco bowl or turkey burger if you like to mix it up. The most important thing for my days is my sweets! I have a huge sweet tooth so I incorporated my yogurt, rice cakes and chocolate. Other days I am feeling a little more salty so I’ll incorporate chips. It’s all about balance.
