Hi! My name is Janelle and I am a wife, mama of 2 beautiful girls and keto+low carb lover. I love sharing easy, delicious recipes that never make you feel like you’re “on a diet.”

I started this journey about 4 years ago after I had my first daughter. I was 35 pounds overweight, struggling with postpartum depression and feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. I knew I had to make a change when I noticed I was avoiding social gatherings and photos.

After trying many failed diets, my husband and I decided to try Atkins, which is low carb and very similar to keto. Right away I dropped 15 pounds and started to feel like myself again.  Over the next year I lost a total of 35 pounds. The baby weight was gone – yay!

Soon after, I got pregnant with my second daughter and I was advised by my OBGYN to stop doing keto+low carb because ketones can cross the placenta and affect the baby. In January 2020, after I had my baby and stopped breastfeeding, I was ready to jump back into doing keto and low carb again. I am currently 22 pounds down since February and still on my weight-loss journey feeling incredible!

I started this community because I want us to motivate one another and keep each other accountable to become the best versions of ourselves for ourselves!
