I need to share with you all some of my favorite Trader Joe’s products for weight-loss. They have top quality and healthy food for an amazing price. It’s the type of grocery store you can go into with no plan, $20 in your pocket and get everything you need for a yummy and healthy dinner. No joke. That store is magic. I’m not sure how they do it.
This is where my love for Everything But the Bagel seasoning started. The most iconic snack ever – bell peppers, cream cheese and EBS. Still my favorite snack to this day. Now they have Everything But the Bagel Greek Style Yogurt Dip and it’s pretty good but not as good as cream cheese. Sorry. They even have EBS seasoned smoke salmon. That little jar of what basically looks like bird food, is some of the best stuff ever. I’m so glad I learned to make it at home.
Going into Trader Joe’s is such an experience compared to your normal grocery store. I never bring my girls with me either. This is MOM time. It’s so relaxing to me.
It’s great for snacks, fresh produce, quick dinners, pre-packaged lunches and so much more. The best is right before a girls night and you can get a healthy meal, cheap wine and some fresh flowers. The best part is that they have healthy alternatives for a cheaper price than the normal grocery store.
Trader Joe’s Products for weight-loss:
- Cauliflower Pizza Crust
I love cauliflower so I’m obsessed with this pizza crust. It’s only 80 calories for 1/6 of the crust. Top it with some low calorie pizza sauce, cheese and some fresh veggies. It’s so yummy and easy to make!
2. Mashed Cauliflower
Again, I love anything with cauliflower. I’m not sure if they’re better than my homemade cauliflower mashed potatoes but they come in a close second.
3. Coconut Aminos
This is a great alternative for soy sauce. While soy sauce isn’t bad for you or high in calories, it can be salty and filled with sodium. This is perfect for cooking asian inspired food.
4. Oven-Baked Cheese Bites
These are a bit higher in calorie but they’re delicious. Cheese is my favorite so it’s only fair these are in my top snack choices.
5. Oatmeal
They have tons of options of oatmeal. You can either eat it hot or you can make some overnight oats with them too. If you haven’t tried my pumpkin ones, you definitely need to.
6. Salmon Burgers
If you like salmon, these are great to eat on top of a salad, in a sandwich or with some rice. I always like to pair it with some sriracha, spicy mayo and a little bit of soy sauce.
7. Black Bean Pasta
Need some more fiber in your diet? This is the perfect swap to your normal pasta and it’s delicious. Try it with some of my homemade marinara sauce and some parmesan cheese. Chef’s kiss!
8. Jicama Wraps
Swap these out for your regular tortillas once in a while. They’re so refreshing and crunchy. They definitely pass the crunch test. Not saying ANYTHING is wrong with regular tortillas, sometimes it’s just fun to try something different but similar. There’s nothing wrong with incorporating more veggies in your life.
9. Cilantro Dressing
This is just one of the many dressings I love here. Use it as a dipping sauce or dressing for your salad. Either way, it’s delicious!
10. Buffalo Chicken Dip
They have tons of dips too. Which I absolutely love. If you haven’t tried the buffalo style chicken dip one, you’re missing out. I seriously love this stuff. You can eat it with chips, stuff some cooked zucchinis, on a bell pepper, a wrap and so much more. Ooh or some carrot chips!
All the fruits and veggies
This may be an obvious one but shopping for produce here is great. I never feel like I have to “search for the best one.” All of their produce is great quality for low prices.
