My love for Everything Bagel Seasoning started when I paired it with a bell pepper and cream cheese. If you know, you know and if you don’t – here’s a hint. I have no idea why it took me a year to make this, but here we are. Another thing about me is that I love to save me some money, honey! Plus, making this is SO easy and you probably have all the ingredients in your house now. If not, you can get them here.
I would much rather make my own seasoning at home versus the store bought brand because it really saves on not only money, but your time and you know exactly what’s going into your blend. You can really make it to your liking so if you’re not too much of a salty person, add less salt! Personally, I am a salty and savory person, but to each their own. You go you! I’ve also have a Homemade Taco Seasoning that’s definitely a crowd favorite!
I love this seasoning so much because it’s so versatile. You can add it to your chicken, eggs, avocado, veggies, toast, spreadable cheese, baked goods, breakfast, lunch or dinner! It definitely adds that CRUNCH to your food. My favorite is on my avocado with eggs and bell peppers or cucumbers and cream cheese. Sometimes I’ll add a piece of salami or pepperoni.
I started off by gathering my ingredients, a small mason jar and a mixing bowl. The great thing is, is that you can double, triple, quadruple the recipe to what is best for you. Under “ingredients” select the up arrow to change the serving size. You may just need a bigger jar.
Take all the ingredients, mix them up in a bowl and store in a cute mason jar. Or if you’re like me, two mason jars – one for work and one for home. I’m like those people that carry hot sauces in their bag except it’s not hot sauce, it’s everything bagel seasoning. I’m sorry if I’m making it seem like EBS is a personality trait, but it’s kind of my brand now, don’t you think? I’m kidding. Kind of.
