Enjoy a 35 Calorie Green Tea Matcha Latte right from the comfort of your own home. There are two plus sides to this – it’s cheaper and much less calories than the 240 calorie one you get at Starbucks.

You guys know you can fit anything into your macros. If you want the Starbucks matcha and need a trip out of the house for the day – by all means go for it! On most days, I choose to “spend” my macros on food because I like to eat.

I have to be honest – I don’t matcha. I know that sounds weird. Why am I making it but don’t like it? I’ll tell you what I do like is caffeine and I drink a lot of it. From tons of espresso to those bang energy drinks. Most days it feels like I need them to survive. Running my own business, being a mom to two girls, working as a nurse and still trying to balance time to myself. Matcha is a more balanced and healthy alternative to my coffee and energy drinks. So, this is my mission to actually enjoy matcha and swap out one of my other caffeinated drinks for it.

I also wanted to make it lower calorie. For something I don’t like, I don’t want to be wasting a ton of calories on it but it definitely needs some sweetness to it. It tastes like grass to me. Very earthy and grassy. Does anyone else taste this or is it just me? After adding Skinny Syrup and almond milk and I can now approve of the Matcha Latte.

I love that skinny syrups have a ton of different syrups so you can use whatever flavor you like. I imagine coconut and coconut milk would be a great combo.
