You guys are going to love this Whipped Cottage Cheese Fruit Dip. Have you ever heard of whipping your cottage cheese? It’s the latest TikTok craze.
I have to say, this is life changing. This makes cottage cheese more versatile and you get all of the awesome macros – low carb, low fat and high protein all in a delicious whipped texture. The great thing about this is that you can make it sweet or savory. I’ve seen so many different recipes for this, I can’t wait to make more and share with you. I have a savory one coming up next week so stay tuned.
Cottage cheese can also be a great addition to eggs. Scrambled or in my Copycat Starbucks Egg White Bites. Egg bites and eggs in general are easy to overcook so this helps with that and adds a layer of cheesiness to it as well.
As I switched over to counting macros, it was important for me to find things I love and make a “healthier” version of it. I love a dip or a sauce. Now, dipping my apples in this creamy, whipped cottage cheese, is a game changer.

Here’s what you’ll need:
- Cottage Cheese – I used low fat cottage cheese but if you want to use full fat, that’s fine too. Since my protein and carbs are the two macros I have the most of, I like to focus on those.
- Skinny Syrup – My holy grail. Skinny syrup is zero sugar, zero calories but one hundred percent has my heart. I literally love this stuff. If you’ve been following me from the beginning, you know it’s what I’ve used from day one. I originally would pick up their seasonal syrups at Home Goods or TJ Max but once I found out they had an online store, I haven’t gone back. They have SO many flavors online that I’ve never seen before. Even a Cinnamon Dolce which Starbucks got rid of! If you use my code JanelleR at checkout, you can get a free syrup on orders over $35 but even if you don’t, please check out their site. You will find yourself debating between 20 syrups you want and a need.
- Food Processor – I have recently been using my food processor a ton lately. To the point where I got a smaller one just because – so now I have two. I love the food processor and it’s definitely different than a blender so in my book you need both. Sometimes you don’t want a harsh blend, you need an easy pulse. I’m sure any are great, but I always find the Ninja products as a safe way to go. They honestly never disappoint. You can try using Janelle25 at checkout but I’m not sure if it still works. If you need a code, email me and I’ll reach out to them. I always want you guys to be able to save money!
