Starbucks Copycat Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is a Fall essential. I love to top my coffee with the cold foam because with every sip, you also get the flavor of freshly brewed coffee.
While going to Starbucks and getting a drink is fun – it can be extremely expensive. Without you even realizing how much you’re spending. For example, a “specialty” grande drink is about $6.40 so if you get Starbucks 3 times a week, at the end of the month you’re spending $76.80. Almost $80 a month on coffee? That could be a fancy gym membership or even a membership at Massage Envy! I think it’s okay here and there but I can’t justify spending that much a month on Starbucks. Hey, maybe that’s why I have Frugal Friday.
My frugal-ness has brought me here. Making my own cold foam and Pumpkin Syrup. Although, I absolutely love the Skinny Mixes pumpkin syrup and that’s what I ended up using today. I also have a code for Skinny Mixes – use JanelleR at checkout for a free bottle on orders over $35. They have a lot of syrups and mixes at Home Goods and TJ Max but it’s nothing compared to their website. I didn’t even know how many different ones they had until I went online. Like the spicy margarita mix I tried was to DIE for.

Here’s what you’ll need:
- Pumpkin Spice Skinny Syrup
- Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Milk Frother
- Heavy Whipping Cream
- Cold Brew – I like to make a pot of coffee and keep in my fridge. I also really like the Starbucks brand in the refrigerated section at the grocery store.
Can I make my own pumpkin syrup?
Of course you can! I have a recipe for you – and you probably already have all the ingredients at home.
How to make it sweeter
If you want to make it sweeter, just a add a few pumps of sugar free pumpkin syrup into the actual cold brew and mix. Or, you can also mix the cold foam into the drink and enjoy it that way as well.
