This easy, homemade taco seasoning is so delicious with none of the not-so-great additives that you find in the store bought packets. Since you’re making it at home, you have the freedom to customize it exactly how you like it and I promise you probably have all of these ingredients in your pantry right now.
This is such an easy way to elevate any protein, chicken, beef, ground turkey or pork. You can use this in a skillet, a crockpot or as a dry rub and trust me, it turns out perfect every time.
It’s perfect to meal prep with too! Tacos, burrito bowls, a stuffed bell pepper… you name it.
A traditional packet taco seasoning packet is about two tablespoons so we will base the portion off that but feel free to double, triple, or heck, even quadruple this recipe to save for later.
I personally like to triple the recipe so I always have it on hand in my pantry ready to go.
