It’s such a nostalgic feeling eating this Sweet and Tart Apple Snickers Salad.
Now, I have a few salads (more to come) on the blog but this has got to be my favorite one. Does this count?
My sister and I were reminiscing how the old lady would bring some type of fruit salad to every baby shower when we were little. She’s not a huge fan but I love it. I mean how could you not?
A good friend of mine introduced me to the Apple Snickers Salad recipe about 10 years ago. She brought it to a party and I have been obsessed ever since. Kattey, I give you all the credit for this genius flavor combination of sweet chocolate and tart apples. It’s so simple and yet so incredibly delicious.
It reminds me of a deconstructed chocolate caramel apple. This is great for a baby shower, bridal shower, holiday party or get together. You can make this in advance and keep it in your fridge until you’re ready to go. I promise this impresses a crowd even with it being so simple. I have always had a love for ambrosia salads and I feel like this is a twist on it. Except this is a little bit more fun and modern.
