Non-Alcoholic Sangria Mocktail

Mocktails for Valentine's day!

Dry January calls for a Non-Alcoholic Sangria Mocktail. This quick and easy mocktail is non-alcoholic and perfect for a big batch. Fresh juice, mixed with soda water, and fresh fruit for garnish.

Personally, I am not doing dry January but I also haven’t been wanting to drink a ton. I feel like at this point in my life I’m way too old for these hangovers. Is anyone else with me? Like, I can’t do it. On top of having the worst hangover of your life, you also have screaming kids in the background. All together makes for kind of the worst day ever. So I’ve asked myself, is the drinking worth it?

Plus, I would rather eat my calories! I get hungry and I feel like drinking can set me so behind in my chaotic life. With macros, cleaning my house, emails, work – I seriously spend like 2 days hungover. Now, I can have a couple drinks here and there and I’ll be fine or drink a mocktail. I really am starting to get on board with these mocktails – everyone loves a cute beverage. It’s not about cutting alcohol out of my life for good, just a much needed break and to have a mocktail once in a while. I also hear a lot about CBD drinks or even the zero proof alcohol and those are also a great option.

Anyways, I wanted to make this for Valentine’s day! You can make an alcoholic sangria or swap it out for this one. Also, perfect for Galentine’s day.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Pitcher – If you’re serving for guests, make sure you have a cute pitcher and glasses. It’s all about the details! I love this one or this one from Amazon. Or this one comes with a stirrer and glasses!
  • Red Grape Juice – You can also swap this out for a non-alcoholic red wine.
  • Cranberry or Orange Juice – Either one works.
  • Chopped Fruit – Now, have fun with it. Add in some orange slices, apple slices, berries and a little sprig of rosemary for garnish.

How to make it alcoholic

Basically, replace your juices with a bottle of red wine and brandy, chop the fruit and refrigerate overnight. The fruit will make it sweet but you can add maple syrup or some liquid splenda to sweeten it more if needed.
