Slow Cooker Mississippi Pot Roast

Slow Cooker Mississippi Pot Roast

Today we are making a Slow Cooker Mississippi Pot Roast. It is a tender, flavorful roast seasoned with an onion dip packet and ranch seasoning that will have everyone coming back for seconds.

The Mississippi Pot Roast is one of the most flavorful slow cooker meats I’ve made. What makes it different from an original chuck roast is the amazon seasonings. While you may be thinking, “just ranch and onion dip seasoning?” The combination of these two are full of flavor. Do not underestimate this duo.

Crock pot meals are the best. Add all the ingredients to the pot, turn it on and come back to an amazing smelling home. Plus, some yummy dinner. Some may say to brown the meat before hand but I just toss it in. If you have a few extra minutes, go ahead but I don't believe it's necessary or makes a huge difference. Once it's done, take two forks and shred it apart. The meat is so tender, two forks will do the trick. Put away the hand mixer! Buttery, flavorful and absolutely delicious.

How can I make this a meal?

Easy! It's up to you. Pair it with some potatoes and Buttery Honey Roasted Carrots. Although, any carb and veggie will make it a balanced and nutritious meal. You can even make some tacos as well.

How to reheat:

Add your pot roast to a sealed container and store in the fridge. When you're ready to reheat, add to the microwave for about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. It's just as good as it was fresh.
