A Spooky Dirty Shirley is a Halloween party staple. We know Dirty Shirley's were the drink of the summertime but did you know it extended throughout the spooky season?
The dirty Shirley was THE drink of the summertime. It's so nostalgic for me - being a millennial and all. I grew up with Shirley temples so it's weird that now it's a popular alcoholic drink. But, I love it and I know you will too.
I always claim that "food is fun" and I stand by that. Also, include cocktails in that as well. A dirty Shirley is such a simple and easy drink to make but bam! You add in a syringe and it's spooky. That's what's great about accessories or fun items you add to your food or drinks. One minute it's a boring drink and the next it looks like you put in a ton of effort into a fancy cocktail.
To a shaker cup, add your vodka and grenadine. Now, shake!
Split in half and draw up with your syringes.
Next, add ice to a glass and fill with the desired amount of 7-Up. I did about 6 ounces.
Add in your syringe filled with your vodka and grenadine. Serve like this and let your guests add in the "medicine" and use the syringe as a stir stick.
