Today I wanted to share this Valentine's Day Oreo Bark that can be transformed for any holiday. With only 4 ingredients, this super easy to make. In addition to it being very delicious! See baby Sloan licking the spoon for confirmation. She gives it a 10/10.

Rae was at school today and Sloan was home with me on my usual "work/blogging" day. It can be difficult to cook or get things done with the kiddos there but we made it work. I always let her lick the spoon, help me stir or taste test and she loves it. She sits patiently waiting for me to give her her next task to do. So this recipe can work even when you have your kids running around!

I always say that cooking or baking with my girls is one of my favorite things to do. Especially when the food is cute and pink like it was today. Hubby and Rae got to taste it when they got home too and they said it was a 10/10 as well.

It's great to buy someone a box of chocolates or candy but making something homemade, made with love on Valentine's day just hits different. Ya know?

Valentine's Day Oreo Bark

Here's what you'll need:

  • White Chocolate Chips
  • Oreos
  • Red Food Coloring
  • Festive Sprinkles
  • 8x8 Baking Dish

Directions:

  1. First, line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Add one bag of white chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl and microwave in increments of 20 seconds. Stir in between until melted.
  3. Once the chocolate is melted down, you can add your food coloring. I added red to make pink but this step is optional. It could also be customized for any holiday or occasion.
  4. Once the chocolate is melted down, pour that layer into the parchment paper lined baking dish.
  5. Next, top the layer of white chocolate with your 16 Oreos.
  6. Add to the fridge to set up for 10 minutes.
  7. After, melt your second bag of white chocolate chips down and add your food coloring if desired.
  8. Then, top your dish with your second bag of melted white chocolate and decorate with festive sprinkles.
  9. Add back into the fridge to set up for 10 minutes.
  10. Lastly, remove from the fridge and remove the parchment paper from the dish. Once the bark is at room temperature, you can cut it with a knife. Each square isn't supposed to be perfect or the same shape so cut it how you please unless you are needing close to the specific calorie count. Then, try to cut them into 16 squares.
