Macro Friendly Loaded Big Mac Fries

Macro Friendly Loaded French Fries

Macro Friendly Loaded Big Mac Fries are definitely one of my top 5 favorite meals to have. With just a few swaps, they can easily be macro friendly and customizable.

I received so many recipe requests so I wanted to add it to the blog to make it easy and accessible for you all.

This is what I meant by BALANCE. I know I preach this a ton but look - I can easily fit Big Mac Loaded French Fries into my lifestyle or my Loaded Carne Asada Tater Tots. I actually meant to make carne asada fries but Peter ended up making the rest for the girls. Instead of running out to the store, the tater tots were just as good and since I know how to count my macros, I easily adjusted. I say teach this in my Macro Course too - you have to know how to adjust your meals and macros for the day if something doesn't go as planned.

Customizable Loaded Fries

A highly customizable meal is also great. I added shredded iceberg lettuce and chopped pickles but you can add whatever you like. Some toppings you can add are onions, tomatoes, shredded cheese, etc.

Is this meal good for meal prep?

I would suggest eating this fresh. If you want to prep your toppings, you can separate them into containers but I would suggest making the fries fresh.

Homemade Fries or Frozen?

Either one! If you have the time to make fresh fries, I say go for it. I'm more of an on-the-go momma so I use frozen and pop them into the air fryer. You can also use sweet potato fries or tater tots if you prefer!

Here's what you'll need:

  • Lean Ground Turkey
  • Mayo
  • Golden Fries
  • Iceberg Lettuce
  • Pickles
  • Sugar Free Ketchup

Directions:

  1. Grab your prepped ground turkey and heat on the stove or the microwave. If you don't have any prepped, I make mine on the stovetop with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
  2. Next, throw some frozen french fries in the air fryer. If you don't have an air fryer, please invest in one! It saves so much time and it's so easy and convenient.
  3. To make the sauce, add 1 1/2 tbsp mayo, 1/2 tbsp SF ketchup, and 1/2 tbsp of mustard. You can also add in a bit of pickle juice.
  4. Now it's time to assemble. On a plate, add your fries, ground turkey, iceberg lettuce, pickles and sauce.
  5. Lastly, enjoy your 480 calorie plate of Big Mac Fries!
