You guys are going to love this Whipped Cottage Cheese Fruit Dip. Have you ever heard of whipping your cottage cheese? It's the latest TikTok craze.
I have to say, this is life changing. This makes cottage cheese more versatile and you get all of the awesome macros - low carb, low fat and high protein all in a delicious whipped texture. The great thing about this is that you can make it sweet or savory. I've seen so many different recipes for this, I can't wait to make more and share with you. I have a savory one coming up next week so stay tuned.
Cottage cheese can also be a great addition to eggs. Scrambled or in my Copycat Starbucks Egg White Bites. Egg bites and eggs in general are easy to overcook so this helps with that and adds a layer of cheesiness to it as well.
As I switched over to counting macros, it was important for me to find things I love and make a "healthier" version of it. I love a dip or a sauce. Now, dipping my apples in this creamy, whipped cottage cheese, is a game changer.
In a food processor, add in 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and vanilla skinny syrup to your liking. Pulse until you reach a creamy consistency.
Add to a bowl and top with caramel Skinny Syrup.
Enjoy! I used mine as a dip for apples and strawberries but it'd also be delicious on toast or a rice cake.
