It's Friday so you deserve to treat yourself to a crisp and Refreshing Apple Cider Moscow Mule!
I love moscow mules because they're super simple to make. Plus, it's easy to make up different variations of them as well. Since it's fall, I decided to add a little twist on the traditional moscow mule and add in apple cider. It was delicious!
The sweet apple cider compliments the "spicy" ginger beer really well, making it the perfect combo. It's perfect for a chill fall night and you're wanting a refreshing cocktail.

While you technically can use gingerale to make a moscow mule, I recommend not to because it will make it sweeter and you won't be able to taste the ginger as much.
A traditional moscow mule is quiet simple. It only has 3 ingredients - ginger beer, vodka and lime. Measure out about two ounces (or more), the juice of half a lime and top it off with ginger beer in a moscow mule mug.
If you don't like vodka, you can use tequila, rum or gin! I've tried a traditional mule with tequila but haven't with rum or gin. I know other people have and have loved it.
