Pre-heat oven to 400.
Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and clean remove the seeds.
Rub the inside of the spaghetti squash with a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper.
Place the spaghetti squash face down on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake in the oven for about 45 to 50 minutes.
Remove from the oven and carefully flip the spaghetti squash over. With a fork, shred the spaghetti squash into small-like noodles.
Top with a half a cup of spaghetti sauce, parmesan cheese, basil and don't forget the candy googley eyes.
You can serve this on a plate or keep it in the spaghetti squash but it kind of serves as a bowl. I think it looks really cute and fun but you can do whatever you'd like.
Feel free to add whatever protein you'd like this my favorite is ground turkey.
