This Halloween Skeleton Vegetable Tray is an easy and great way to get your kids to eat their veggies! It's healthy, fun and a break from the candy.

This is great to bring to a gathering or party and it makes you look like you actually tried. When in reality, it's effortless. Chop some veggies, get a platter and assemble. Oh, and don't forget my homemade ranch. This is my life - as a busy, working mom, sometimes I don't have the time to make a big dish. And honestly, sometimes I don't want to.

As Halloween approaches in the next couple weeks, this needs to be on your list. Even if it's a quick afternoon snack with your kids, it's too easy not to do it!

Here's what you need:

  1. Start by washing your vegetables. You can use water or some fruits & veggie wash.
  2. Add your homemade ranch to a bowl and make a face using the vegetables.
  3. Then, assemble your skeleton to your liking. Get creative and have fun! I used celery for the bones, cherry tomatoes for the joints, red bell peppers for his hands, chopped bell peppers for the ribs, sliced cucumbers down the middle and sliced mushrooms for the guts. Woo! That was a lot.
