The BEST Protein Waffles

These are absolutely the best protein waffles I have had and I've had quite a few. It was a bit of trial and error but I finally found the perfect recipe. They are low-carb, low-calorie and high-protein so they will keep you full and satisfied. When I tell you these hit the spot, I mean I could make these every weekend.

The macros on this recipe are actually insane. It's only 150 calories for four mini waffles and 1G of net carbs. You could honestly double or triple this recipe and still hit your fitness goals!

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

Egg whites - I use egg whites for this recipe but you can substitute it for one whole egg if you prefer.
Water -  Ok, now I know everybody's gonna have this ingredient.
Baking Powder
Protein powder- I like to use PEScience or ISO100.  In my opinion, they mix well and don't get clumpy or chunky. Plus, the flavors are delicious.  I usually get vanilla and add whatever I want to my batter. For example, banana extract, cake extract, chocolate, peanut butter or whatever flavors you like.

This recipe is honestly so easy you basically plug in your waffle iron, get it warm and pour in your batter. One of my favorite parts about this recipe is you can have so much fun with it.

Personally, I like to add sausage and make little breakfast tacos. I top them with a little bit of powdered sugar and dip them in Walden Farms sugar free maple syrup. I'm telling you, the combination of savory and sweet is just BUSSIN' BUSSIN'.

You can substitute a vegan protein powder but usually they require a little bit more liquid so be sure to add just a little bit more water.
