Pina Colada Jello Shots

Pina Colada Jello Shots

These Pina Colada Jello shots are everything and more! Made with Malibu Liqueur, Island Pineapple Jello and topped with whipped cream and a sweet cherry.

I always say, when you bring jello shots, you're automatically considered the life of the party. People love just love them. That's why I have so many versions of them and for every occasion. It's my go-to potluck treat. Baby shower? Jello shots. Grad party? Jello shots. Summer BBQ? Oh, we are definitely going to need some jello shots.

And of course, there is much more to come.

I'm a big fan of Pina Coladas... and getting caught in the rain. Not actually, but I do love a Pina Colada in hand when laying out on the beach or pool. These are perfect to pack in a cooler. Using these plastic little cups from Amazon with lids have been a game changer - making them easy for travel. They're the perfect size for just one shot too. Although, I must warn you that these are a little strong so enjoy responsibly.

Now, if you are on a sober kick or on sober tiktok and want to make them non-alcoholic - feel free to do so. They are still really yummy. Make the jello as directed on the back on the package and sub the whipped cream for coconut whipped cream.

Pina Colada Jello Shots

Do I have to use rum?

Technically, no. You can sub it for another alcohol like tequila or vodka but does that still make it a pina colada? I'm not sure. If you do end up subbing it for another alcohol, be sure to use coconut whipped cream.

Are these good to prep before?

Yes. I love prepping them before any event and getting them out of the way. Even if it's easier for you to prep them 2-3 days in advanced.
